G-Code Editor Super app for iPhone and iPad

This is a great super version CNC G-Code editor and 3D viewer for iPad. With its help, you can view or edit your CNC G-Code files on your mobile device no matter where you are, at home or workshop. It is an ideal tool to create small new cnc file, or do simple modifications for existed g-code files, for instance, changing machining parameters, correcting small errors, etc.

The app provides many text editing features similar to desktop text editors, including row modification, row insertion, deleting a row, appending a row, searching, row duplication, etc. You can also use the app to change the display page of the G code file, or go to a particular line by telling it the line number. It supports huge NC g-code file as big as 100,000 lines.

The app also provides G-Codes, M-Codes list for your reference. This could be very handy in case you need to know what G67 or G80 means.

The app supports 3D viewing feature for G-Code and CAD data. You can use it to view tool path in 3D. You can also use it to view CAD data in stl, dxf, iges, step, x_t(x_b) format in 3D. You can load CNC tool path and CAD data file and view them together. This is very helpful to compare tool path against CAD model to see if anything is wrong. The app provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, panning, changing color, etc.

The app provides native support for you to view documents in many different formats, including Microsoft Words (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint(.ppt, .pptx), Apple Numbers (.numbers), Pages(.pages), Keynote(.key), Adobe PDF (.pdf) and multimedia files including image (.png and .jpg) and video (.mov,.mp4,.3gp). This way, you can manage and view not only 3D files, but also other files of your project.

You can add files to the apps document folder through iTunes and use the file open button of the app to load them. You can also use the app to open files you received as your email attachment. Just tap on the attachment in you email app, the app would be launched automatically. Or you can use it to open files from third party file management app, like DropBox, etc.

The app is also a file organizer. It provides you many features to help you manage the files, including sorting, deleting, creating new folders, moving files between folders, etc. The app provides zip and unzip function. You can use it to zip / unzip compressed files in .zip format. The app also tells you information about your files, for instance, the size and creation time of the files. If you need share with your friend, coworker, client or partner, you can use in-app email feature to send your model out as email attachment.

The app provides unique in-app reviewing feature. You can easily take screen-shot of your file (3D or office document), draw your comment on the screen-shot and email it to your friends. The app supports many drawing elements, including free form, line, text, rectangle, circle, ellipse, etc. It supports undo/redo.
